Safety

Recommended maximum exposures are typically:

  • 0.1 ppm for 8 hours exposure
  • 2 ppm for a 2 hour exposure

Ozone is not acutely dangerous at normal levels but long term exposure should be avoided. At levels easily obtanied by a lifter in a closed room it will cause these symptoms:

  • Irritated mucus membranes
  • Eye irritation
  • Headace
  • Nausea
